Why "Made in the Shade?" Because my garden in the summer of 1998 grew in the shade and the vegetables and herbs managed to thrive. So I figure we should all play in our gardens ever more..

This web page is dedicated to helping to make the World a better place
At least in some small way
In this little corner of my world, you will find many different interests. Some of which may include, in no particular order, herbs, computers, adoption, children, and of course, my own spirituality....In other words, if it has to do with life and living, you just might find it here...
Here's a picture of one of my favorite people in the whole world:

This is Cori Ward. Isn't she adorable? I met Cori sometime around 1993. Since that time, Cori has been best friends with my son, Eric, and my daughter, Hannah, while we lived in Dallas, TX for a few years. I fell in love with Cori, because to know Cori, is to love her! Cori needs our help and prayers now, please take just a moment and send all the positive energy to her that you can. Cori's Mother, Becky fell ill about 2 years ago, in 1996, and has progressively become gravely ill. As of today, November 9, 1998, Becky is in the hospital with terminal cancer. Becky has now lived over a week longer than the doctor's have given her. Please keep Becky in your prayers!!
Tuesday, November 10, 1998, 12:54pm, cst. Becky grew her wings. Now she is free and her love will surround all whose lives she has touched ever stronger. God speed!
Here's a picture of my daughter, Hannah:

Cute as a bug's ear, isn't she? She's as beautiful inside as she is outside. Hannah is with Cori at the moment, keeping vigilance with Cori at the hospital. That's my Hannah!!
And here's a picture of my youngest son, Eric:

Eric is 17, and another great joy of my life. Eric is a wonderful and really neat young man with great plans for his future! He'll do great things in life, I know. Just remember, you first saw this handsome guy here!
And here is a picture of my oldest son, Todd:

This is my oldest son, Todd, with my daughter, Hannah. Todd is one of the neatest people I've ever met in my life! I was forced to give Todd up for adoption when I was 17. I found him through a search on adoptions in August, 1998. Todd and the lady who adopted him flew up to Indianapolis on Todd's 26th birthday, which was September 17, 1998! There was an instant, incredibly strong bond between all of my children and myself, when all of us were united for the first time in our lives! Todd is definitely my child, a very powerful, yet kind and gentle free spirit. I am eternally grateful that he was given a good childhood by the lady who raised him. I can never thank her enough for giving him back to me! Thank you Judy, I can only imagine how hard it must have been for you to give him back to me. Now my little world has come full circle and no matter what else may happen in this life, my life is complete. I love you Todd, with all of my heart!!
Please be patient as I add more pages to this site. The going may be a bit slow, as at the ripe old age of 43, I am going back to school for a degree in computer programming and find there is little time for anything else besides studying my books and attempting to write programs! I love computers and am doing pretty well in school. Wish me luck for the future!!
